STUDENT USE OF PERSONAL VEHICLES

 

 

Students who drive automobiles, motorcycles, or motorized scooters to school must obtain the proper operator's license and liability insurance before being issued parking stickers.

 

Parking stickers shall be required for all cars brought to the High Schools.  Separate color stickers shall be issued for seniors, with seniors parking in a designated parking area and other students parking in a different parking area.  Separate color stickers shall also be issued for teachers.  Students who will be having their cars worked on by Auto Mechanics during the day must park at the Auto Mechanics Building and must have a pass signed and dated by the Auto Mechanics teacher on the dash of their cars.  No student shall be allowed to park in any other area.

 

The arrival and departure of vehicles on the school campus shall be regulated by the principal.  Students shall not sit in parked cars at any time after their arrival at school.

 

Any student whose class assignment requires them to leave campus during the day shall have a signed, notarized letter from their parent stating that they may leave campus for that class assignment only.  Each time the student leaves campus for that class they must have in their possession a permit signed by the principal with the date, time of departure, and estimated time of return stated on the permit.

 

Students will not be allowed to leave school and bring meals onto the school campus.
