The LaSalle Parish School Board met in Special Session on the above date with the following members present:

Mrs. Dawn Stott

Mr. Jonny Fryar

Mrs. Virgie Wilson

Mr. Buddy Bethard   

Mr. Dolan Pendarvis

Mr. Charlie Anderson

Mr. Melvin Worthington

The following members were absent:  Mrs. Maple Book, Mrs. D’Juana McCartney, and Dr. Walter Creel

The meeting was called to order and led with prayer by Mr. Anderson. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mr. Anderson.

On a motion by Mr. Fryar, seconded by Mr. Worthington the Board voted to approve revised Policy GBK “Employee Discipline” to include the  “Hearing Procedures for Employee Discipline”  which contains the required list of approved Disciplinary Hearing Officers (DHO), as recommended by Attorney Jon Guice.

On a motion by Mr. Worthington, seconded by Mr. Pendarvis the Board voted to enter into Executive Session to discuss the following litigation:  #32778, LaSalle Parish School Board vs. Kitterling Creek, LLC.

On a motion by Mr. Pendarvis, seconded by Mr. Worthington the Board voted to  return to Regular Session with no action being taken.

On a motion by Mr. Anderson, seconded by Mrs. Wilson the Board voted to adjourn.

The meeting was closed with prayer by Mr. Bethard.
